B&W Frills

I was after something soft and B&W today so I chose a flower from my anniversary bouquet and left it drifting in a bowl of water, couldn't really get anything from it so ended up going macro!

Not entirely sure I like this shot at all. I like bits of it but it's not what I had in mind when I started. maybe I'll warm up to it after a few hours!

Update ~ Now I've had a few hours away from it I can appreciate it as a photo in it's own right and not the disappointment of not being what I wanted. It's OK isn't it?
