Experimenting with Refraction

I learned some new and cool techniques at the Western North Carolina Fotofest this weekend, but this is not one of them.

I learned a bit about refraction photography from the Internet. It's an "in camera" technique, which I appreciate as opposed to Photoshopping it. I tried doing some refractions last year with mediocre results. I decided to give it another attempt today.

This image is of several refractions in droplets of one zinnia.

This could be the beginning of a new series.

Any suggestions?
