Ex-leper

What a fantastic day I have had. Even the weather took a turn for the wonderful. Great company, lovely lunch (with beer) and a visit to an archaeological site and oyster shell washing finds team. It had everything.

I have no idea if this chap (it IS a chap so I'm reliably informed) was once a leper or not but he's buried in what was Medieval leper hospital so the chances are quite good. It's been such a long time since I was on a dig that I did get an overwhelming urge to get my trowel out and start working.
