A fine and blustery morning at Embleton Bay. picture-postcard view one way towards Dunstanburgh Castle, the ruins sticking out on the headland and the walk the other side of the castle across the clifftops to the village of Craster something of a classic. But not today, not for us, just a tad windy out there you could say. I was quite up for all manner of exploration and activity but the shelter of the dunes was actually pretty appealing after a while. Expecially with flask. And biscuits.
Back home to Edinburgh by teatime but next weekend we'll do it again. And I'll probably end up photographing a lot of the same stuff again that I photographed over the last couple of days, believe me I was spolit for choice when it came to selections. Felt good to have a variety of subject matter to choose from, if there was only more time in the day...
OK, music - tempted to go for the marvellous Julia Holter again ,but I saw that the equally marvellous Rachel Evans AKA The Motion Sickness Of Time Travel has some new limited edition instrumental cassette malarkey out so we'll have a bit of her instead. Not exactly worlds apart are they?
