Recipe for life

This very tattered piece of paper was stuck inside the arts and crafts cupboard in the kitchen when our three were young. As many of you probably know two's company and three is a crowd. This was often the case when our three were playing as youngsters. John saw this in a newspaper one day and typed it out for them! It remained in that cupboard until we had the kitchen done a few years back. If everyone lived by this maybe the world would not be such a shambles!

SHARE EVERYTHING;
PLAY FAIR;
DON'T HIT PEOPLE;
CLEAN UP YOUR OWN MESS;
DON'T TAKE THINGS THAT AREN'T YOURS;
WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER GOING TO THE TOILET AND BEFORE MEALS;
SAY SORRY WHEN YOU HURT SOMEBODY;
LIVE A BALANCED LIFE - LEARN SOME AND THINK SOME AND DRAW SOME
AND PAINT AND SING AND DANCE AND PLAY AND WORK EVERY DAY SOME;
TAKE A NAP EVERY AFTERNOON;
WHEN YOU GO OUT IN THE WORLD,WATCH OUT FOR TRAFFIC, HOLD HANDS AND STICK TOGETHER,
BE AWARE OF WONDER.

Since doing my blip this morning JD and I went to see Jane Eyre....at least most of it! The Projector broke down. However we got free tickets for any other film show!

Our Fi blipped a rather nice one today, if any of you are interested. Her Grandpa ( JohnD's Dad would have been 100 today). Even when Grandpa was so very ill he could always remember his date of birth 12/9/11
