A Bee Kind of Day

Yes today has been one of bees.

An early start with what started out as a bike ride and turned into us invading a local farmhouse, complete with injured cyclist, two ambulances and a first responder. Thankfully, all is now much better, but I can't vouch for the bee that caused such a reaction.

After that, and as busy as bees, we had a good sort out at home and finally a roast meal was prepared and devoured.

The bumbles are loving the sunflowers. I hope they last another week, the annual sunflower competition is nearly upon us!
