Vanvouver - Day 8 - Alibi

We're back in Vancouver again - unfortunately on the home straight now ;-(

We met up with J again for a few drinks at a local drinking hole called the alibi room. This place has 50 local, national and international ales on tap (they had brewdog on tap!) - and best of all they do a flight so you can taste a few at once.

2 flights later and I have come to the opinion that:

* IPA is excellent if not too hoppy
* Chocolate stout is just plain wrong
* Alcoholic Ginger Beer still has to grow on me as a proper drink
* Fruity ales are not my cup of tea.

All in all it was an excellent night of drinking and catch-up with J who we've not seen for 18 months
