A day for reflection

At Socrates Cafe today the main question was 'Why would we not talk about 9/11 today?" An interesting slant on it, that pondered whether there was anything new to say, what the media coverage has been like this week leading up to today, and if it truly was the history-changing event. After which we also considered whether knowledge is 'gendered' - another chance to discover the difference between men and women that is always good to prompt some debate amongst the group! Just back from a Hamlet rehearsal - more blocking, this time the final scene, with plenty of people milling about on stage, and therefore some careful choreography.
