Tour of Britain

We went to Peebles for the opening stage of the Tour, arrived really early and had lots of time to admire the bike porn and spot some of the big names. Mrs Custard got very excited as Mark Renshaw went past and she just had to reach out and touch him, much to his amusement, he seemed like a thoroughly nice guy.

We then scooted down to Tweedsmuir to catch them coming out of the first King of the Mountains section. The police had closed the road so everyone abandoned their cars and ran up to the junction to watch the peleton come past, it was a great sight. Managed to get a shot of Cav and the aforementioned Mr Renshaw as they flew past. A great morning's outing.
