Sombre Day

Whilst I've been carrying on with normal life, those images of 10 years ago aren't far from my mind. I think it's the fact that it was so photographed, filmed, we saw everything, that makes it all the more horrific. We don't see films of wars, or the Blitz, or Rwanda, or any of the other awful things that happen in the world - but that was there, repeated on our TV screens again and again.

Let us never forget.

I noticed on the BBC news channel photos of Extremist Islamics "protesting" and burning the US flag, in London. Words fail me...
