The wreck in the bay

This is the wreck of the Sovereign which came to grief off Cairnbulg (Aberdeenshire) on 18th December 2005 (the crew were all winched to safety by an RAF rescue chopper from Lossiemouth) ... still just lying there partly submerged breaking up bit by bit ...

Today was the last day of my holiday :( went for a wee tour round Buchan taking lots of pics ... many of which would make good blips ... some days you have loads, other days none, guess its the way it goes!

Autumn is coming ... the geese from the Arctic are pouring into their wintering grounds at the Loch of Strathbeg and the leaves on the trees are starting to go yellow ...
