Big Sunday Walkies!
Wow weeeeee. Today I have been on a BIG walk and I have seen LOADS of things.
We looked up on the internet another one of the local walks to explore. This one was called beautiful views in Banwell and oh boy what beautiful views they were!
I am sorry that it is yet another collage, I know I am supposed to just do one photo a day but we found this new software to use and because I saw many views I just HAD to show you them all!
It started off with a REALLY steep climb. I was ok, I steamed on ahead pulling daddy up the hill, who held out his hand and pulled mum behind him! It was really slippy and rocky on that bit but we made it without falling over in a big heap!
At the top I sat and posed with daddy and we caught our breath, then....we turned around and caught the beautiful view just as the sun came out. Well mum and daddy were catching the view, I was wanting to sniff out all the wonderful smells in the fields! It was SO annoying that I wasn't allowed off my lead, we went up and down steep hills and through lovely smelling fields. Mum was the navigator and not really very good at it. Daddy kept taking the map off her and pointing us in the right direction again ?*giggle* If it was left to mum I think we would still be out there, trying to find our way home!
At one point we were going through a path beside a big field of corn but then the path kind of disappeared and we were walking through the corn, knocking it out of the way as we went. If we didn't have the map we could have sworn we went wrong!! Can you see me walking in front of daddy? I am very well hidden, what fun I would have had off the lead!
Then we came to a farm with some tiny horse things. Ponies, mum said they were! They were very odd, I stared at them through the fence for a while but they weren't that bothered about me.
The views were very beautiful and mum took lots of photos, but she is sure Kirstie's camera would have taken better photos ;-) She did tell daddy this a few times!!
We were out for about 2 and a bit hours in the end. The walk said it was medium steep but mum said her legs said it was lying!
I did meet a few doggies on the way and mum told their owners that I was in season. One lady was very grumpy, we stood still but her dog wouldn't leave me alone so she had to come and get it. Mum said she was sorry but the lady just tutted and said "now we will have to jog to get away from you"! Some people are very rude!
I am VERY tired now and so are mum and daddy. We really loved our big walkies though and are going to try another one next weekend. I can't wait to be off the lead so that I can run free in the fields!
We are now snuggled on the sofa watching the memorial to 9/11. It is very moving, mum keeps crying and I am licking her tears. We we want to send all our love and thoughts to all the people that lost someone.
Bye for now
