Sometimes things don't turn out how you expect.

Today I expected to be struggling with a job, instead it all slotted into place nicely.

Today I did not expect to have the children dress up in my clothes and do impersonations of me in protest at me not letting them play on their Nintendo DS. (Wee shites!!)

Today I expected to drink coffee, there was none :(

Today I expected to post a nice crisp macro shot of some sunlit tulips. (note I had already stolen my camera back from the above wee shites before the impersonation protest)

Instead the one I liked best out of the shots I took was this one.

It may be blurry, in shadow and a bit out of kilter but somehow the tulips looked more alive.
