Green Shield Bug

A very rushed day today, but spotted this wee guy as I was on my way home, and just got the camera out in time to capture him before he crawled under the fence. I think it's a native green shield bug, apparently there is also a European species which can sometimes be seen in London.

It's not the first time I've blipped a shield bug.
