Note To Self

I have some of the best friends around . Had a day with a problem that I couldn't see a way out of , my friend Vicky was there as my sounding board, she gave me some huge practical help which I can never thank her enough for and then she took me out for some drinks.

We bantered away as only women can and decided that the only solution to anything is to count our blessings and don't worry oh and we also decided that shopping and talking about handbags should be banned . I think we are secretly men .

A lovely night. I love friends , there is no agenda and it's unconditional.

Oh lord I am off on one of my Oscar acceptance speech rambles I think it's time to call it a day .
