How's This For A Pose

The starlings were out in force on our feeders again today, but this fella decided to come alone so he could pose for the camera! And what a striking fella he is, still with the juvenile colourings to his head and adult winter feathers to the rest of his body. Also had the Mummy Bullfinch back on the feeder today with her baby and a Robin but couldn't get to my camera in time!
Its just me and youngest daughter this weekend; oldest daughter has gone to Pembroke for the weekend and hubby away in Scotland, walking the 95 mile West Highland Way with his mate Ian.
Today is day one of their walk and they managed to get 12 miles in before the weather came in. They also managed a visit to a Whisky Distillery along the way too! Unfortunately the weather is sooo bad, they are having to B&B it tonight instead of camping it and it looks like they'll have to do the same tomorrow too as Hurricane Katya is due to hit!!! Rather them than me, I say!!
Hopefully I will manage to catch some descent photos of the robin, and Mummy and baby bullfinch over the next couple of days
