Black Man

This statue is of someone called Robert Cooke, but it has been known as the Black Man, as in "meet ya at the Black Man", for ever, even though it is obviously green. The building in the background was Belfast Technical College when I was a young 'un, back when NI had some manufacturing jobs!
It's now the home Belfast Metropolitan College or BMC. With the unexpected sunshine as I was leaving work, I decided to detour into town to look for Blippertunities. I've linked to a couple of runner ups below.

Looking back, I'm pleased with my photographic week despite the loss of mojo last Tuesday. I'm particularly pleased with my B&W and night shots so I may concentrate on this area going forward, for a while at least. Thanks for the many stars, hearts and encouraging comments - really appreciated, people!
