Today my dear friend threw her first children's birthday party for her soon to be 4 year old daughter. It was fab, with delicious home-made food, inventive games, party bags that were creative and champagne for the adults! Perfect.

There was also face painting and my thirteen year old once again proved to be indispensable and turned the little faces into flowers and butterflies, pirates and tigers.

Love how serious Sienna was taking the whole process, she is definitely keen on the dramatic side of things in every possible way!

Now off to help organise a retirement party - funny how parts of life are one big 'celebration' of milestones!
