Jewellery

I have been sporting my snazzy necklace and braclet today. They got lots of compliments at the bowling green, where I went with Gran this afternoon while Mum cleaned the house. Papa is a keen bowler. I told him I wanted to play. The bowlers thought they would have to call off their tournament earlier, as the rain this morning was very heavy. But in the afternoon, the sun came out and it was lovely.

It was a special tournament today, an annual competition in memory of Peter Waters (known to everyone as Junior). Junior was a member of the family, married to my great aunt. He was a lovely man, and my auntie has sponsored this cup in his memory. I'm very glad the bowlers were able to to go ahead with the tournament.
