Brackets

I decided this morning that my six months of learning to identify wildflowers is probably over (at least for this year). Yesterday's marsh gentian seems like a good high point to end on. It also coincides with the fact that the 2012 calendar of wildflowers that I've been putting together to raise funds for the commons society has gone to the printers today.

Walking around the common this afternoon I noticed many different fungi, most of which I can't identify, so it seems logical to concentrate on them for a while. I realise of course that you can't reliably identify fungi from photographs but I will at least have a record of what I've found.
