Couple

Of course, I had to take the new lens out for a spin today. A bit of a wander, lunch, a bit more of a wander, and a coffee. A very nice day until we saw a woman on a bicycle get hit and dragged along the street by a van.

Not pleasant, especially since the woman had her young daughter on the back with her. The mother seemed to have fared pretty well (amazingly), but the girl must have hit her head because she was bleeding. At least she was screaming and crying: that's always better than silence. We did what we could, called an ambulance, and once it arrived left the ever expanding group of gawpers to it.
