Gymnastics

It was the first gymnastics in the new building today!! Hooray!! It was a lovely class, busy but a lot of fun. And it seemed to be a good session that worked fantastically. Katie liked the circuit of apparatus at the start - and even braved every slide and climbed the bars climbingy thing, that she wasnt sure of at first. Lots of games with the balls, crawling under things, balancing them on things. Katie was more a fan of the crawling under things. She liked the parachute time a lot too and ran straight on as soon as it was opened out and was last to let go as it was put away (almost being taken with it!)

She had a car picnic afterwards before taking her to nursery. She wasnt impressed. Sidnt want them to cuddle her, wouldnt have her snack, didnt want to play. They did say she wanted to try and enjoy it, but just didnt happen. And they're trying really hard to make it as easy as possible for her. After a while they sat her in a buggy - which she wasnt impressed about but was less unimpressed than being held They pushed her round and eventually she went to sleep. She was curled in the quiet corner when I arrived, clutching Monkey and her coat, which she'd refused to let go off. She'll get there. She just struggles when its people she doesnt know and trust.

When we got back, we went for a walk out and bought a very cute winter coat for her. She wanted to go to the fruit shop (no complaints!) and bought a big little orange and some grapes, troughed them and 3 1/2 cheese straws before we came home!
