Evening all.

First proper day after the holiday, back at work, back at school, back into the old routine.

Or as my daughter's school has changed its start/finish times, prompting us to alter our routine, and get up at an even more ungodly hour than previously, its technically the "new, old routine"

She is thrilled to be back at school, as it gives her a chance to get back into the social side of school,seeing her mates, catching up on the goss and just fitting back in..

Personally we've never been those parents who count the days til holidays are over, for us, its never a joy to get to the end of school hols, always a little melancholy creeps in, as its another year older, and another step further away from childhood,

still can't hold them back, we are the Launch Pad, nothing more, and once they're off and flying they're on their own, with nothing more than a bit of guidance and direction assistance, as we watch them soar away...
