There may be trouble ahead.....
Difficult to say those words without singing them I find!
Singing or not, I fear their message is ominous as my friends in the finance world tell me we are definitely heading toward the dreaded double dip! As if it wasn't hard enough already. Sooner rather than later they say. Oh deep joy!
I'm having enough difficulty getting clients to pay the smaller amounts they're spending already, looks like a recipe for less work, tighter budgets and extended credit terms. It's always puzzled me how a client can perceive days of hard toil for a supplier, a provider of services, can be worth less than a shopping cart full of groceries, less than they spend in a local restaurant having lunch to discuss whether of not they'll give you the work or even if they'll go ahead.
It bodes not well. And like the sudden thick blanket-like storm clouds that came overhead at around 7pm tonight, some distance (in time) from sunset, our land will similarly be thrown into premature darkness obscuring whatever brightness there may have been on the horizon. I could see in the distance the remnants of light that I had been expecting to provide us with beauty and serenity, but as is dissipated to nothing, it reminded me of the proverbial train approaching from the end of the tunnel.
I guess we'll have to face the music. Not sure I'll want to dance though.
PS - truly, it was this dark, this shot is SOOC
