Toward the Sunlight...
Looking around the site, I've noticed that some people use blip for genuinely artistic photography and other use it for more mundane stuff. I've decided that I'm going to take the best pictures I can, but my basic goal is to take a picture every day that sums up how I'm feeling and what I'm going through.
Today I took 44 pictures(!). This wasn't the best one, but it was the best representation of the day. We've had rainy grey days since Tropical Storm Lee showed up, and today he's been on his way out, getting shoved out of the way by more and more blue sunny bits. This was one of my many attempts to capture the contrast of darkness under a lingering stormy Death Star cloud and the blinding light of the sunny patch up ahead.
One of my friends has been very excited these last few days; she's convinced something wonderful is going to happen. She just "has a feeling". I know what she means - I have a feeling something wonderful could happen soon, but in my experience, wonderful things never happen without a little effort on my part. So I've been frantically searching for the path I need to go down in order to get to that sunny bit. I worry a lot about taking a wrong turn, but I reckon a wrong turn is preferable to sitting still, especially when you don't really love where you're sitting...
