Blipping from Portland

I flew from Newark to Portland, OR this morning.  The weather cooperated and I got out of Newark on time and arrived in Portland an hour early, thanks to a rare tailwind.  My dad was already in surgery, but I was able to keep mom company while we waited.  After a 4 hour surgery, the surgeon proclaimed it a success.  Dad is spending the night in cardiac ICU and will hopefully move to A "regular" room tomorrow.

So, no birds, bugs or flowers today, just this little sign from the hospital.  Along with my thanks for all the good wishes and prayers!
