Watchful Eye

Over the past few years I've had about half a dozen fleeting visits to Kingston upon Thames as part of a project that I've been working on with colleagues at the university there.

On my last visit I brought you one of the Kingston Parakeets.

This time I spotted a pair of carved wooden heads peering out above a shop in this half-timbered building.

I'm not sure of its age, but I'd guess it's been keeping an eye on the town for a few hundred years.
