Nearly drowned

As I went into the garden this afternoon, I noticed this snail floating around in the water butt, he looked like he was still alive although didn't look too healthy.
As much as I'm not too keen on slugs and snails I didn't want to be responsible for his death so I rescued him.
I put him on the grass where it was nice & warm & after a couple of minutes he started creeping away.
Another life saved!!!
