Europe's Best Ridge Walk?

After another night under canvas and a better evening meal this time (dinner with a table of Frenchmen and K in her element), we set off to descend to Castello Di Vergio (a hotel with warm water and showers!!!! Bliss).

We descend through the valley and take a early morning coffee at a Bergerie that has cows (yes fresh milk and not powdered!), then a walk through a glacier formed valley to the final descent, crossing back and forth over the ridge before meeting the forest and then the hotel. All in all 6 hours of fantastic walking a a truly epic day, topped by a great shower and a chance to wash our clothes!
