Llyn Ffynnon-y-gwas

Today we did Snowdon the long way. We started at Llanberis then took a route through the Arduu valley to the base of Foel Goch then climbed to a pass Bwlch Maesgwm between Foel Goch and Moel Cynghorion. We were in the clouds then and couldn't really see the views which was a shame but we still hadn't seen a soul which was amazing. From Cynghorion's summit the route descended to Bwlch Cwm Brwynog where I took my blip overlooking this small reservoir. We then joined the Snowdon Ranger Path up to the top. Very cloudy up there but we enjoyed the hot tea and sausage sarnie! On the way back we made a happy mistake which took us past Glaslyn, Llyn Llydaw and Llyn Teyrn which gave us stunning views just under the cloud line. It's been an amazing day!
