All in All

I'm not minding the the wall quite as much now as when I first saw the view from our new classrooms. It's got a bit of character about it and has a nice glow about it when the sun shines on it like today.

That's the first full day's teaching in at the new campus with our new intake, with only a few minor teething problems IT-wise to induce some anxiety. The 16 shiny new 21" iMacs worked great but found it a bit odd working with a huge Mac Pro connected to a bog standard 15" screen as the teaching machine. Felt a bit like sticking a Rolls Royce jet engine in a Sopwith Camel - it just didn't fly right. The afternoon's session was back in this room, with some more traditional art activities going on, with a very studious lot of students covering all the nice new white furniture in paint and PVA glue. The cleaners are going to love us lot.

Now feeling like I've hit the wall myself after all that, and being relieved it's Friday tomorrow.
