Day 3 - Big Sur

The sea mists in Pacific Grove, Monterey are like waking up to a miserable UK weather every day, it's like it's raining but it's not and it's also cold.
As the day proceeds the sun burns off the sea mist and you may get some blue sky as we did for our drive to the Big Sur, in fact it was a glorious day.

We stopped off at the beginning at one of the State Parks. I really loved this walk, plenty of birds that really put our tour guides (Pete & Ed) to the test as there were so many new birds all at the same time. The birds were beautiful, but I my highlight was seeing the Monarch Butterflies; so amazing to see them for real.

The Big Sur is so stunning, really pleased I've seen it and can now associate to it more in all the films that feature it. The other highlights for today were seeing a Condor and Elephant Seals.
