Sir Isaac Newton wondered why -

an apple falls down from the sky.

My background is in Health Physics, so I see these apples as a potential safety hazard to anybody walking through this 'closey'. I am sure there is a dropping index on apples.

Notice the clear blue sky, don't you just love it.
