Running Rugby

Have taken thousands of photos of rugby this year alone and am pretty sick of it particurlay when the teams, like these two playing here, have only 2 players in total that I know personally.
SO, tonight it was about playing with settings and seeing what the camera could do in low light conditions with most of the play on the other side of the field just to add to the challenge. This is mostly the result I was looking for, a sort of impression of rugby itself rather than identifying the individuals.

As I am not known in this representative level I kept behind the barriers tonight and hence the play was not easy to follow in low light. Also the 16 year old acting captain ( my son) was adament I was not to do anything to embarass him on the sidelines.
Ah well, learning is valuable in itself we always tell the boys so must apply to me as well I guess.
