Clisham is back!
I arrived home today and found Clisham the cat lying on the top shelf of my bookcase!!! I had to go over and stroke him to make sure that I was not imagining it. I had told my neighbour this morning that he was missing and thinking that she had let him in rushed over to thank her. She was delighted to hear he had returned but had not let him in! I was thinking by now that I must be going mad and then remembered that I had left a key outside for my son.
Cailean and his family were the ones that launched the search and rescue mission when I was at work this morning. They found him as he ran out from the bushes, just up the road, after calling for him. I have just spend a lovely evening with 7 other ladies in the neighbourhood who had all been alerted by my kind neighbour and who had also all had a look around for him. Everyone was very glad to hear the news! There was speculation that he might have been spooked by the combine harvester working in the field at night or by the local badger or foxes that live close by.
Guess we will never know where he has been but I am just delighted to have my little four legged friend back again snoozing on the top shelf of my bookcase.
