Madam Rosa

On Monday I discovered a photographic exhibition in the Famagusta Gate Municipal Cultural Centre, by Dimitrios Markoglou. Absolutely fascinating.

I was especially enthralled by the photographs of the old ladies, like Rosa, seen in this blip.

I took B back last night and on our return through the back streets met my "cat? lady again. She welcomed me like a long lost relative and I would have loved to take her photograph as she was such a character, but felt that as I could not ask her permission it would be unfair. I regretted that decision as I walked away, but didn?t have the courage to go back.
