Back to school

First day back with the children today. Went ok despite the dreads (aka 'back to school blues') which started yesterday.

Very hectic day - didn't stop from the moment I arrived at 7:15am until the moment I left at around 5:30pm. A long and intense day with the new Year 3 class, but a good one never-the-less.

This blip is of a wire dog sculpture made by a previous pupil who I taught when they were 8 years old and this was given to me for a Christmas present that year. My estimation is that the Year 4 child who made this is about to start university this September... not a child any more. I hope they are happy and doing well.
