Year one

Today has been a big day for Master Pink. His first day of the new school year, and a new classroom and new teacher, even a new headteacher. He went off to school with his new backpack containing his new lunch box, and wearing his new school trousers (a size too big, but I'm sure by next summer will be flapping round his ankles!) But I think he's had a good day, he was full of cuddles and smiles when he came home.

After his big day at school, he had his swimming lesson. And for the very first time, his teacher took the class down to the DEEP END! Now Master Pink has built up the deep end to be something completely scarey and beyond his capabilities. Using their woggles the whole class swam to the deep end and met their teacher. And then they swam back again. I felt so proud of him, as he looked terrified as they were standing on the side of the pool getting ready to swim back. Or cold. Maybe he was just cold!
