Remnant of summer
The sweet scented honeysuckle in the hedgerow is hanging on to summer although its neighbour already sports its red berries and the dead leaf beckons nearby.
Today was quite cold but the wind had dropped. T and P moved several lots of cattle to different pastures. The builders returned to continue with the new roofs over the cattle yards. We have a problem there as there is a power line that needs to be changed and the building firm forgot to notify the power company earlier with the result that there will be more delays. Just hope the weather doesn't turn nasty before the problem is resolved as we have nowhere else to house the cattle. At least the builders can get on with the second shed.
