La vida de Annie

By Annie

Eton Mess

I was treated to lunch today by lovely friend Eileen, at a little bistro near the end of Penny Lane, and run by friends of hers. Although modest in size, it has won many awards and has been in the Good Food Guide. The dessert pictured here is to die for. She correctly judged that tasty well-presented small portions of excellent food were just the thing for a poor appetite. Thanks, E., it was great to get out for a while and practise being normal again.

Update (see yesterday's blip): today Africa is pale blue.
