Seeds for Later

My beautiful sunflowers have lost all their petals now but I'm left with these lovely seedheads which will ripen and feed the birds later in the autumn. Love the patterns the seeds make.

Keep your face to the sunshine
and you cannot see the shadow.
It's what sunflowers do.
