Farmer's Market
Bounty from local farms.
Growing and marketing food locally is an uphill battle. Fortunately inroads are being made. It is the populous that is preventing the politicians from crafting legislation to shut down the local farmer to allow the international agricorps to control our food.
The tipping point is the sentiment of 100 mile diet.
This has really become a huge issue on the west coast of British Columbia. Many chain stores are now stocking local produce. Hopefully meat will follow.
I am fashioning myself as the 10 Km photographer. I walk everywhere in my local community and if I leave it I use public transportation. With the exception of the images I take when I visit Mom all are taken in a 10Km radius.
