Evidence of Autumn

I saw all these yellow leaves on my afternoon walk and immediately thought of one of my favorite old Genesis songs (see blip title). In fact, I've decided to listen to it while I write my accompanying journal entry!

It was remarkably cold out today, and very abruptly so. The summer was oppressively hot, so I suppose it's a nice change, but it would've been nice to have a little time to get used to the idea! Ah well. I spent most of my day in a VERY large VERY boring meeting, so I didn't mind wandering around in the cold relentless drizzle for a blip. I was just grateful to be outdoors!

In talking with a dear friend today, it occurred to me that I don't have any hobbies. I do a lot of stuff, but it's all a means to an end on a bigger journey...so I end up taking it all way too seriously. I guess blipping is my hobby now! I'm really loving doing something for the fun of it for a change.

And now I'm off to enjoy the best part of cold weather: throwing all the sheets on the bed and snuggling into them. Happy Tuesday everybody!
