The Stygian Gloom of Geneva Airport Station

Intermodal transport works well in Switzerland with the main-line railway situated directly beneath the Airport Terminal.

All trains from Geneva Airport stop at Geneva main station Cornavin and trains continue to Basel, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne and Brig for the Swiss Alps.

Not an architectural masterpiece but a triumph of convenience and of course it being Switzerland time-keeping.

This is I believe a Re460 aka Lok 2000 class the work-horse of the Swiss mainline railways.
