Sad face for a sad day

Woke up this morning to a call from Lee's Mum to say she had been called to go into hospital as Lee's Dad had become rather poorly. Then i got a phone call from Lee at 8ish to say that he had passed away.
We are all so numb and sad about the situation. I just wanted to write my blip today about it all.

He went into hospital a few weeks ago now and it wasnt until around a week ago we found out he had bone marrow cancer. Sadly he was too weak to get over it. Cancer touches every family at some point and it's certainly affected ours right now. What upsets me the most is that for a start nobody knew he had this until he got very ill with it so going back a few weeks ago he went on holiday and was fine and now this, such a shock to everyone. Also, he only retired about 6 months ago and has worked all his life so he can enjoy his retirement which is also very sad. Atleast he is suffering no more.
