38 shots later...
I saw the waves were bashing the shore when I got home from work tonight. So as I'd had a light blip day due to adverse weather conditions (a ScotRail quote) I decided to duck round for a quick photo, before going on to a parent council meeting. Would only take a minute, surely?
Well, no, as usual I got carried away... So 38 shots later, I finished up with this one, which seemed to catch all of the exciting stuff - waves shooting up and over the sea wall, white horses racing in, and spume separating as the waves settled.
This is the usual shot of Saltcoats trotted out when the weather is bad, as the train line from Largs to Glasgow runs along side this stretch. So I know it's not original but there you go!
Had enough time for a marmalade sandwich and off to my meeting :o)
