Cuppa Jam Anyone?

The strong winds brought down lots of wild plums today, so I made some bullace and apple jam.

It's quite sharp in flavour but delicious. This is the left-overs that wouldn't fit in the jam jars.

The bullace are delightfully sweet when eaten from the tree, but if cooked they become incredibly tart.

Jam sandwiches for tea!!
