There used to be a path here.

Today we walked, climbed and waded around Buttermere. The path was submurged in places and in one place the lake was so high we had to climb up the rocks just beyond the tunnel. It was also amazingly windy...but we all enjoyed it, especially Chloe who appreciated the extra chances to swim.
