SHITPANTS :: I LOVE HIP HOP

Well, I once quite liked a couple of Public Enemy tracks, but I'll be honest, that was over 20 years ago. Hip Hop never looked or felt a very good fit in Edinburgh to me.

The Festival is over, so as the city empties of culture vultures, and slowly fills with students, the clubs all start their 'notice me' sticker PR campaigns ontop of the peeling Sarah Millican and Dave Gorman posters. There's always been a lot of tagging up Nicolson Street, and a lot of students flats up there, so maybe I'm wrong and there are plenty of South Side Hip Hop stude-dudes on the mean streets of the 'burgh.
