Matauri Bay, again

We spent most of the day with Tiree today. We took her for fer swimming lesson at Little Dippers this morning, followed by coffee and a frothy ( mostly frothy milk in an espresso cup, babychino in Oz ), shopping, lunch and then a trip to Matauri Baywith Ollie. They both loved it and although warm and sunny in the sun, the sea breeze was quite cool. Not bad for Autumn, though.
The large hill to the left of the picture is the site of the Rainbow Warrior Memorial. It is quite stunning and will be blipped sometime in the future. It reminds me that we were here on a visit in July 05 and heard about the London bombings. The commentators here referred to New Zealands terrorist attack, the bombing of the RW in Aukland Harbour 20 (??? ) years before. It really was a dreadful act of the French !
